You just have to love Sephora. Not only is this internationally known beauty boutique novel yet inventive, but it tends to introduce some of the most creative beauty products in the world today. One of the newest products is Sephora's Mini Shopping Bag Makeup Palette.
The Sephora Mini Shopping Bag Makeup Palette is a cute little palette that comes in the form of a Sephora shopping bag. It includes nine exquisite eye shadows, four lovely lip glosses and one beautiful blush. Recently, when shopping on sephora.com, I had the opportunity to discover this amazing Sephora addition.

PROS

When it comes to using a product, how important is the color payoff that is produced? The color payoff produced by the eyeshadows is modestly decent. The eyeshadows are not only pigmented but reasonably long-lasting too. I do not think the eyeshadows are of amazing quality, but they are far from terrible.
I have to admit, the lip glosses in this palette are somewhat pigmented but mainly sheer. They are visible, yet wearable. You can build color to a certain degree. The lip glosses are moisturizing, yet hydrating.
Although I am not a fan of blush, I have to acknowledge that this blush is fairly nice. It is pigmented and does not streak. The color is also natural looking, despite being more cool pink than neutral or warm.
The 14 individual products in Sephora's Mini Shopping Bag Makeup Palette create hundreds of looks. They also cater to just about every skin tone and skin type, making this fabulous Sephora addition gift worthy.

For only $15, you are getting a total of 14 products. If you look at each Sephora product individually in the Mini Shopping Bag Makeup Palette and do the math, it is a $50 value. You are saving $35, more than half of what the product is worth. If that isn't a deal, I don't know what is.

CONS

The lip glosses are fairly pigmented, but the color payoff is not incredibly visible. If you are a lip gloss connoisseur or a regular lip gloss fanatic, you may appreciate the lip glosses in this palette, but you will not love them.
It is incredibly small. The value is great though for Sephora products, so it is very hard to complain about that. But if you are expecting a big- or even regular-sized palette filled with 14 Sephora essentials for under $20, don't get your hopes up. This palette is small, kind of on the same wavelength as a travel-sized palette. In theory, you get what you pay for.

Eyeliner is one of the hottest beauty essentials in the world today. More than likely a vast majority of women that make up status quo society will have this necessity in their beauty bag. With everything from pencil, retractable, liquid, kajal, powder, kohl, cream, and gel, eyeliner remains to be the ultimate makeup necessity. Eyeliner is used to simply make your eyes stand out or "pop". Applying eyeliner is simple, so today I am demonstrate 7 different types of eyeliner.

7. Powder. Out of all of the eyeliners, the powder application is the least complex. The best individual makeup looks created using the powder eyeliner are the smoky eye inspired makeup looks, as well as, the exotic makeup looks that are inspired by Africa, Asia, South America, and Eurasia.

6. Liquid. Some of the best makeup is inspired by the 20s, 30s, and 40s era. Although application varies, liquid liner is relatively simple. Most of the time the liquid liner is used to create timeless inspired makeup looks influenced by some of the beautiful female classic celebrities of the past 30s-40s era such as Marilyn Monroe and Ava Gardner.

5. Pencil/Retractable. These are the most common eyeliners, which make them incredibly flexible. Whether you want to line the outer or inner part of your eye, you can do so with both the pencil and retractable eyeliners. You can create just about any inspired makeup look with the pencil/retractable eyeliners.

The Body Shop is an internationally known cosmetic company that emphasizes the natural concept, so every product available is made with only natural ingredients. I love the Body Shop because the company is very big on animal rights and also makes great products.

Recently, when shopping at The Body Shop, I was influenced to purchase the Body and Leg Shine. After contemplating the idea of the overall niche the product delivered, I was convinced to try it.

PROS

When it comes to my skin type, I am combination, but I lean more toward oily in the summer months. I noticed that after applying this and going out in the sun, it did not fade away. I also noticed that when working out, it did not smear off and make a mess like others I have used. It is definitely a long-lasting product.

When it comes to the Body and Leg Shine at The Body Shop, there are numerous reasons it is a wonderful product. It is primarily made up natural ingredients, which are not only safe but healthy too. Some of them include aloe vera gel, hibiscus flower extract, leaf oil, mica, orange oil, sabdariffa extract, lemon oil, black pepper oil, water and more.

It is available in two shades. 01 is the Light & Medium shade, and 02 is the Medium & Dark shade. I am an NC42 in MAC cosmetics. I have tried both 01 and 02 and found that the 02 shows up better on me. If you have a light complexion and you use the 02 shade, you will end up with streaks.

Although I love using this on my legs, I also use it on my arms, shoulders, back, stomach and neckline, as well as, decollete. It is a multi-use product, which makes it another reason to love it.

When it comes to creating the ultimate smoky eye, there are a lot of qualities to look at. You want to create something that is clean, yet dramatic and visible. You don't want your smoky eye to look theatrical or robust. You also want to pair your smoky eye with a neat face and lighter lip because your goal is to draw attention to your eyes and no other features.

Recently, I had the opportunity to create the "Sarah Afshar Classic Intense Smoky Eye Makeup Look" which is an incredible makeup look that I randomly produced before going out with friends. Although this look is very much wearable during any time of day (and if you want to wear this during the day, you are more than welcome to do so), it is better to wear during the evening hours.

You want to begin by priming your face with a foundation primer. Primer works as a sealer, which allows your makeup to last relatively long. It also prevents your makeup from fading or creasing. I also love primer because it prevents breakouts. Although I tend to use Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer, for this particular makeup look, I am going to use Boscia's Skin Perfecting Primer. It is my first time using this primer, so expect a review of it soon. You want to apply the primer all over your face and let it set for about a minute or two.

As you continue, you want to apply your foundation, as well as, concealer. Most of the time, I don't wear foundation, however; when I create any kind of stand-alone inspired makeup look, I always apply it. I tend to apply concealer before my foundation and then reapply if necessary. Although I tend to use MAC's Select Cover Concealer in NC42, for this particular look, I am going to try a new concealer I recently discovered from Tarte. It is called Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer. I am going to use the Tan shade. Using the 195 MAC brush, I am going to apply the concealer on my face. Concealer is much thicker than foundation, so you don't need to use a lot.

Foundation is always key when creating any kind of makeup look. Although I tend to use MAC's Studio Fix Fluid in NC42, for this particular look, I am going to try a new foundation by Bobbi Brown. It is called Skin Foundation SPF 15. I am going to use shade Golden 6. Using a MAC 190 brush, I am going to apply my foundation all over my face. When it comes to foundation, there are no limits because you can blend. I am going to blend any excess foundation using a BeautyBlender.

Applying a setting powder is very important because it prepares your makeup, constructing a canvas. This also allows your makeup to last long. For this particular look, I am going to use a translucent powder. Using a powder that is not translucent can make your skin appear pasty and that is not the look you want to achieve. For the Sarah Afshar Classic Intense Smoky Eye Makeup Look, I am going to use MAC's Blot Pressed Powder in Medium Dark. This inspired makeup look is for every woman with every skin tone, so you don't have to use the exact colors, as I am. Using a MAC 134 brush, I am going to apply the blot powder all over my face.

For this particular inspired makeup look, you want to use a natural looking blush. Today, I am just going to use a subtle, yet natural looking blush. You want to use a blush that is darker than your skin tone, but not too cool or too warm. Although I tend to use NARS blushes, for this look, I am going to use Illamasqua's Powder Blusher in Create. Using a MAC 116 brush, I am going to apply Create on my cheeks, as well as, my nose, forehead, and chin. Keep in mind, you don't have to use this particular brush, as there are a ton of great blush brushes, as well as, dupes.

When it comes to producing the ultimate smoky eye, you need to first and foremost, prime your eye. In fact, priming your eye is an absolute must. What a better way to start by applying an eyeshadow primer all over the lid, as well as, on the crease to the brow bone. Although I love Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion, I am going to use a different eyeshadow primer. For this look, I am going to use NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. Primer prevents your makeup from making a mess and eyeshadow primer is a very important beauty essential to those looking to create only the hottest smoky eye.

The eyes are the most important feature to enhance and when it comes to this look, there are simply no limits. You definitely want to create a dramatic smoky eye, but you also want to keep it at a minimal if you intend to wear it in public. There is a huge difference between dramatic and theatrical, so keep it dramatic. The last thing you want to be a punch line to a joke. For the Sarah Afshar Classic Intense Smoky Eye Makeup Look, I am going to use three different shades of eye shadow. The darkest shade will be a black matte. The neutral shade, which will be used the most, will be a dark matte brown. The lightest will be the highlight, which is a light gold shimmer. When it comes to any smoky eye, you don't want to use all shimmer shades.

You want to begin simply by applying the neutral shade. It is the default shade in this particular makeup look. For this individual makeup look, I am going to use Lancome's Color Design Sensational Effects Eyeshadow in Couture. Remember, there are so many different types of eyeshadows, as well as, shades, so you are destined to find a dupe. Using a MAC 213 brush, you want to apply this eyeshadow all over the lid, going only slightly past the crease. You can use a modest amount. You don't want to take it past the crease.

The darkest shade is a black matte. There are so many amazing black matte eyeshadows in the beauty world right now, however; my favorite black matte eyeshadow is definitely MAC's eyeshadow in Carbon. It is incredibly pigmented and produces one of the best color payoffs in the beauty world to date. Using a MAC 275 brush, I am going to apply the black matte eyeshadow on the outer edges of my eye. You want to only apply to the edges of the eye. You do not want to apply it all over the lid, like you did with the Couture eyeshadow. You also do not want to take this eyeshadow past the crease.

Using a blending brush, you want to blend the darkest shade Carbon, the black matte eyeshadow towards the middle part of the eye, creating a smoking effect. For this particular look, I am going to use MAC's 224 brush. As you continue, you want to apply more of the Couture shade, but do not blend.

Once you have finished applying the darkest and neutral shade of eyeshadow, you want to apply the highlight. You want something that is a pale golden shimmer. For the Sarah Afshar Classic Intense Smoky Eye Makeup Look, I am going to use MAC's eyeshadow in Nylon. Using a MAC 242 brush, I am going to apply the highlight (the lightest shade) up towards the brow bone. MAC's eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented, so you don't need to use a lot.

You want to line your water line with a Kohl based liner. You also want to tightline and line the upper waterline, as well. For this particular look, I am going to use Afshar Beauty's Kajal liner in Paradise Siyah, which is an intense black. There are numerous Kajal liners in the market. In fact, Sephora recently introduced one called the Smoky Kohl Eyeliner. You want to take the same liner and line your eyes. Remember, you can blend, so if you make any mistakes don't worry about it. You want to apply it generously.

The eyebrows should be a little dramatic, but not over the top. They should still be natural looking. I absolutely love using Benefit Brow zings, however; for this particular makeup look, I am going to use Stila's Stay All Day Waterproof Color in Medium. You want to make sure that your brows are colored in, but you want to make them a little refined, yet sharp, giving them a glamour-like appearance.

Mascara primer is optional. If I am going to be gone for a long period of time, I really like to apply it because it prevents my mascara from making a mess. There are numerous mascara primers on the beauty market, however; for today's makeup look, I am going to use Clinique's Lash Building Primer. You don't need to apply a lot, but do apply enough. For mascara, I tend to use Dior relatively often. Whether it's the regular Diorshow mascara or the Iconic mascara, I am an enthusiast. For the Sarah Afshar Classic Intense Smoky Eye Makeup Look, I am going to use Kat Von D's Sin-Full Lash Mascara in Black. You want to apply a modest amount, but you don't want to apply so much that your lashes look dry and/or spider-like.

The lips should be light. You can use nude, as well as, pink, but try to stay in the natural zone. You want the attention to be drawn to your eyes, not your lips, so your goal is to simply use a lighter lip product. Sometimes the best toners come in mist forms. I have to admit, despite it's few discrepancies, I find that this Laura Mercier skin care addition definitely exceeds in strengths. Although I identify my skin type as being "combination," it leans more toward oily in the summer and spring, as it leans towards dry in the fall and winter. If you are searching for a mist that is incredibly hydrating and not over drying, you are destined to love Laura Mercier's Flawless Skin Perfecting Water Moisture Mist.

Whether you have very oily skin or very dry skin, Laura Mercier's Flawless Skin Perfecting Water Moisture Mist is the skincare essential you need. Although, I must say that this is a phenomenal product for those women with dry skin. If you are a woman with dry skin and looking for a moisturization that is lightweight and instantaneous, you are definitely going to find this product appealing.

Although this hydrating facial mist states that it prepares your skin for serums and moisturizers, it is also great before applying makeup. Also, if you have oily skin or even combination/oil or normal skin, you don't even need a moisturizer before applying Laura Mercier's Flawless Skin Perfecting Water Moisture Mist. Having all of the ingredients that make a great toner, but also including the hydration that is a key ingredient in skin maintenance, this product is amazing.

This product is dermatologist tested, which means it is great for any skin type. There was a time in my life when I suffered from an acute case of acne to the point that cystic acne developed. After doing skin management, it went away. This happened last year during the months of October and November 2010. I noticed when I used this product, my skin began to improve dramatically. Definitely non-comedogenic.

I believe this product is great for almost every skin type, but I don't think it is beneficial to those women with oilier skin types. Summer is here! If you are one of those people that is looking to achieve a sexy, summer glow without any expose involved, you are destined to not only love self-tanning products but appreciate them much more so. Recently, when shopping at Sephora in Boise, Idaho, I had the opportunity to discover Sephora's latest product, Body Self-Tanning Tinted Bronzing Mist.

PROS

When it comes to selecting and choosing a good self tanning product, there is a lot to contemplate. One of those contemplations is definitely a self-tanning product that looks natural. I am an NC40-NC42 in MAC Cosmetics (and if you know anything about that, you would know that I am about a medium/tan complexion). I noticed that the color of this product is natural and doesn't have an orange color that looks like acute oxidation. If you are finicky about anything you put on your skin, I guarantee you are going to be impressed with this self-tanning product.

I have to tell you, when it comes to any kind of lotion or spray, I love products that are not only long-lasting but fast-drying too. Sephora's Body Self-Tanning Tinted Bronzing Mist is one of those products. If you are looking for a self tanner that dries instantaneous, you are definitely going to love this fantastic Sephora addition. Also because of this, you don't have to worry about blending this product because it works on its own.

Some of the best products I have discovered recently have been relatively affordable. If you are searching for a self tanning product that delivers great results for less than $10, you are going to love Sephora's Body Self-Tanning Tinted Bronzing Mist. Although the price is originally $12, because it is summer, Sephora has knocked down the price to just $5. If you think about this price versus some of the drug store brands, you are getting a phenomenal deal for a high-end product.

If you are looking for a self-tanning product that is highly pigmented, delivering intense, yet highly visible results, you are not going to get it with this product. The color in Sephora's Body Self-Tanning Tinted Bronzing Mist is natural and although it can be built, you will not go from fair to tan in just one use.

Despite being a great tanning for a great price, this product is not suitable for all skin types. My skin is combination and although it is drier in the winter, it tends to be more oily in the spring and summer months. Although, this product worked great for me, I think because of the actual formulation of this self-tanning product, it is not suitable for those with really dry skin.

The scent of this product is more tropical because it has mango with hints of Monoi flower. If you are one that is all about fragrances in products, especially at self-tanning products and you do not appreciate tropical smells, you may not find Sephora's Body Self-Tanning Tinted Bronzing Mist appealing.

Urban Decay is an ethical beauty brand that is heavily influenced by intense spontaneity and originality. It is an exciting beauty brand that has managed to stamp its mark in the beauty world. It is also a fun brand, which makes it one of my favorite beauty brands. Recently, when shopping at Sephora, I had the opportunity to find Urban Decay's Sparkling Lickable Body Powder.

PROS

It is a powder compact that has some of the most original, creative packaging I have ever seen. For as simple and unique as this beauty product is, it definitely catches your attention from the outside.

What I love most about the Urban Decay Sparkling Lickable Body Powder is that it fun and original. I also love the fact that it is available in three shades, which also represent three amazing scents and flavors. The lightest shade is "Marshmallow," which is a beautiful sparkling white shade. It goes on clear. It smells like a marshmallow, however; you can smell some hints of vanilla. The darkest shade is "Cocoa" which is the most visible of all of the shades. It is an intense, yet natural looking sparkling bronze. It smells like chocolate. The medium shade is "Honey," which is a stunning sparkling gold. It also smells like honey, but I can also smell a hint of vanilla with it. Although the Cocoa looks the best on my skin, I absolutely love the Honey. I also find that the Marshmellow smells the best and has the hottest packaging of all of the powders.

The shine produced by this amazing Urban Decay addition is fabulous. It is subtle, yet visible and light, making it insanely natural looking. Depending on your skin tone, each shade will show up different. I am an NC42 in MAC Cosmetics (which is a medium/tan shade), and I find that the "Cocoa" looks the best on my skin.

Whether you want to use this product on your face, on your arms, on your legs, on your neck or even on your decollete, you can. Urban Decay has managed to create this product, using natural ingredients, so the comedogenic level in this product is quite low. If you are searching for a product that can be used everywhere on your face and body, I do recommend this product.

This product is not a bronzer. This product is also not a luminizer. It is simply a beauty product that creates only a subtle glow, as well as, subtle shine. Milani is an affordable beauty brand that was created for women who love color. It emphasizes the essence of beauty, without limits. Recently, when shopping at Cherry Culture, I had the opportunity to discover Milani's Body Bronzer.

I have to admit, I am somewhat of a bronzer enthusiast. OK, maybe I am a connoisseur. One of the first qualities that I look for in a bronzer is definitely it's pigmented quality, as this not only creates the color, it allows you to build it. When it comes to Milani's Body Bronzer, I noticed that the color is very pigmented, so you can build the shade to the color you want to achieve. Because of this, this body bronzer is formulated for every skin tone.

Does price always play a role in choosing a product? It is a well known fact that not everyone can afford to spend $40 for a bronzing product, so price can definitely be a virtue. If you are searching for an affordable product, you are definitely going to find Milani's Body Bronzer appealing.

Milani's Body Bronzer is a multi-use product with a very low comedogenic level, so if you are looking for a makeup product that does not irritate and break out the skin, you are going to like this body bronzer.

CONS

When it comes to choosing and using a good product, I look for one of the most important qualities and factors in my individual selection. One of those qualities is definitely long-lasting. When a product is long-lasting, it has several factors that range from streak-free to fade-proof. Was this product long-lasting? It wasn't long-lasting. If you are searching for a product that lasts a long time, you are not going to get it with this product. Despite being pigmented, I found that this product did not deliver on a long-lasting quality at all. If you want a product that is long-lasting, you are not going to like this body bronzer.

It is a well known fact that not only everyone likes cream based foundations and not everyone can wear them. The same can be said about any formulation. But if you are one of those women that is not into cream-based bronzers, you may not be interested in this product. The actual content of Milani's Body Bronzer application is on a cream wavelength. It is not powder. If you are searching for a body bronzer that is powder-based, you may not like Milani's body bronzer.

Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look

When it comes to any country inspired makeup look, the primary goal is to be natural, however; there are instances where several country inspired makeup looks are audacious and daring. Not saying this represents dramatic, but tends to be rather visible in a sense that it intense, yet wearable. When I attended the Beaverhead County Fair in Dillon, MT, many women approached me and asked me about my makeup. Then, when I posted pictures afterwards on the world wide web, I had women from all over the world contacting me, asking what I did to achieve this particular look.

I garnered the inspiration for this look from my own ideas. This inspired makeup look is purely an original I created based on what I wear most and how it emphasizes my precise features. Although this inspired look is a look you can wearing during the day or the night, one thing is certain, it is passionate and somewhat dramatic. Today, I am going to show you how to re-create the "Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look". Lets get started!

Moisturizer is key, especially in the Summer. Despite my skin being fairly oily, I always manage to use a good moisturizer, as it will not only maintain hydration, but keep my skin balanced throughout the day. One of my favorite moisturizers is by Proactiv and it is called Green Tea Moisturizer. It is fortified with an array of antioxidants, so it is great for the skin. I am going to apply this all over my face. The moisturizer will set on it's own. The key is not using too much, but also not using too little either.

It is a well known fact that every girl should know how important primer is. It is one of the most important beauty essentials as it is used for several purposes and works in an array of different ways. Primer is often used to allow makeup to last a long time. One of my favorite primers (which I am going to use to create this inspired look) is Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer. I love this primer because it is infused with an array of vitamins and is water-resistant. I am going to apply the primer all over my face and allow it to set for about a minute or two.

Once I have allowed the primer to set, I am going to begin applying my foundation, as well as, concealer. Although, you can choose how you want to apply your foundation and concealer, I tend to apply my concealer first, followed by my foundation and setting powder. For this specific look, I am going to use MAC's Select Cover Concealer in NC42, which I will apply using the 195 brush by MAC. When I use concealer, it is mainly to target any problematic areas because this concealer provides you with great coverage, so I don't need to use a lot of it.

Remember, when you apply concealer, as well as, foundation, you don't have to use the same exact product or shade as I do, however; this is what I used to create the Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look. As you continue, you want to apply your foundation. Using a 190 brush by MAC, I am going to apply my foundation. For this particular look, I am going to use MAC's Studio Fix Fluid in NC42. I love this foundation because it gives you a natural matte finish and allows you to build the foundation to meet your coverage needs. It also absorbs oil, without drying out the skin and clogging pores.

Setting powder is key, however; depending on the type you want to use is truly up to you. For this particular look, I am going to use a rather translucent powder, as I found it to be more natural looking. Most recently, one of my favorite setting powders is definitely Urban Decay's De-Slick Mattifying Powder. I love this translucent powder because it extremely lightweight and very absorbing. It is great for those that have oily skin, as well as, normal and combination skin. For this particular inspired makeup look, I am going to use this powder. Using MAC's 150 brush, I am going to apply this all over my face. Keep in mind that any powder will do, as will any brush.

In most recent years, I have discovered that one of my favorite products is definitely bronzer. There are so many great bronzing products in the beauty world and so many that have yet to be discovered. One of my favorites (which I will be using today) is definitely Urban Decay's Baked Bronzer. I like this bronzer because it natural looking and also extremely pigmented, so you are able to build color. It can also be applied wet or dry. Using the 134 MAC brush, I am going to apply "Gilded" all over my face. There are three different shades, but I find that "Gilded" (which is a stunning bronze shimmer with gold undertones) is the most vibrant for my particular skin tone.

The thing I love most about bronzers that possess a little bit of shimmer is the fact that you don't really have to use luminizer. I love luminizer, so of course, I was a little upset. Just kidding! Well the great news is, when I created this look, I did add some blush, but I made sure that the blush was natural, yet visible and at least went well with my particular skin tone. For the Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look, I decided to use NARS Blush in Douceur. Using a 116 MAC brush, I am going to apply this generously to the apples of my cheeks. I am going to blend up and out, but also make sure that I go over it with a beauty blender, in an effort to blend the product, so it doesn't look dramatic. NARS blushes are extremely pigmented, so the key to wearing them correctly is to blending them properly.

Some of the best inspired makeup looks in history have been influenced a balance of neutrality and excitement and the Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look is no exception. You want to begin by priming your eyelid. Although there are many eyeshadow primers in the beauty world to date, for this inspired look, I am going to use Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I love this eyeshadow priming product because it truly delivers benefits, as it actually prevents your eye makeup from creasing, fading, and basically making a mess. I also like it because it allows your eye makeup to be applied smoothly and doesn't irritate your eye area. You don't need a lot, however; if you apply a generous amount, it truly does get the job done. I am going to use "Eden" for this particular inspired makeup look.

Once you have applied your eyeshadow primer, you must let it set for about a minute or so. I know most women like to apply their eyeshadow first and then go over it with the liner, for this look, I did things a little differently. In fact, although I am notorious for applying my eyeshadow before I apply my liner, I decided to apply my liner before I applied my eyeshadow. I have decided to use a gel liner (Bobbi Brown's Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink), however; to line my waterline, as well as, to tightline, I went with a stand-alone pencil liner (Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero).

I always apply the gel liner first, followed by the pencil liner and with this look, that is exactly what I did. Using the Bobbi Brown Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush, I applied my gel liner. You want to extend your gel liner on the top out and then, when you line the bottom, you want to extend it up, so that the two corners of the application form a "v"shape. If you mess up, don't worry. Just wipe it off and try again. As you continue, you want to line your waterlines with the stand-alone pencil liner. You want to also tightline. Tight lining (when you line the top water line of your eye) is optional and is not required if you have overly sensitive eyes.

Now it is time for the eyeshadow. Although the eyeshadow is semi-dramatic for this makeup look, I didn't use that much. In fact, I only went with three individual eyeshadows. My main eyeshadow was a dark deep brown matte. I decided on Lanc´me Color Design Eyeshadow in Couture. Then, I decided on a natural, yet neutral blending shade that was still relatively visible, but not too overpowering. For the Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look, I went with a light gray matte shade. I went with Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Feline. For the highlight, I went with a golden shimmer that was rather pale, yet nude. For this look, I decided on MAC eyeshadow in Nylon.

Using a 227 brush by MAC, I will begin by applying the main shade. In this Sarah Afshar inspired look, the main shade is also the darkest shade. I will pack on the eyeshadow, but only enough to wear it is visible. You don't want to go past the crease, when you apply this shade, but you do want to go up and extend it that it is a little below. Using a 214 brush by MAC, I am then, going to apply the light gray matte shade. You will apply this in the crease, but you will not blend. Then using a 217 brush by MAC, you want to blend this shade into the main shade. Once you have accomplished this, you can add your highlight. You can accomplish this by using a 228 brush by MAC and apply the highlight modestly, but not generously up near the brow bone. Then, you want to take the 227 brush again and touch up using the dark shade, but do not blend.

Are you having fun yet? The time is now to focus on the eyebrows. For this look, the eyebrows are not going to be as dramatic, yet intense as they could be. It is 2011, not 1911. You want to go, as natural, as possible. If you have dark hair (whether brunette or black) if this means going a shade lighter or two, so be it. If you have blonde or light hair, go as light as you can, without appearing as if you don't have eyebrows. Try something more taupe or beige, rather than brown. For the Sarah Afshar Country Inspired Makeup Look, I am going to use Benefit Brow Zings in Medium. My hair is dark brown, but I decided that the medium works well to compliment this look. I love the Benefit Brow Zings because this little kit gives you everything you need to create amazing eyebrows.

Although mascara primer is optional, it is not required. I decided to try mascara primer, simply because I created this look shortly before I decided to go ride, rides at the fair. Recently, I discovered one by Armani Beauty called the Soft Lash Primer which works amazingly. My mascara did not fade, let alone flake and I wasn't left with the messiness of spider lashes and dry flakiness, that can sometimes happen if I wear mascara for a while. There are several mascara primers (commonly known as eyelash primers) in the beauty market and they vary in price. I have tried one by Milani before that was under $10 and worked great.

Once you have applied your mascara primer, it is time now to apply your mascara. If you wear primer, you really do not need waterproof mascara. I love waterproof mascara, but sometimes I find myself having a hard time getting it off because many are formulated with ingredients that promote this concept. For this particular inspired makeup look, I am not going to use a waterproof mascara. I am going to use Dior's Diorshow Mascara in Black090 (which is simply a rich black). Black mascara is what makes my eyes pop and I encourage everyone who attempts to recreate this inspired makeup look to use it. Use generously, but also properly.

The lips should be as natural, as possible. For this particular inspired makeup look, I lined my lips with a lip pencil. I decided to go with Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil simply because out of every lip lining product that I own, it is the best one. It is not only waterproof, it is formulated with an array of antioxidants, making it a product that is good for your skin. Your lip area is very important and this lip lining product definitely demonstrates why. You want to choose a shade that is a little darker than your natural lip color, but also visible. I decided to go with Illegal (which a stunning rosy neutral shade). Although some ladies like to apply their lip liner after their lip product, I always apply mine before.

Now it is time to apply the lipstick. For this inspired look, I have decided to use a lipstick that is of a matte finish. Something that is rosy, but also nude with a beige undertone. The perfect lipstick for me, to create this specific inspired makeup look is definitely MAC's lipstick in "Honeylove" (which is a stunning light beige with a rose undertone). There are so many shades in the beauty world today, so keep in mind, you don't have to use the exact shade as I am. I am well aware that this shade doesn't look good with every skin tone, as it varies upon skin tone. The lips are to look natural, so the key is to stay away from any other finish. Lip gloss is not needed.

Mister Radiant is also guaranteed to enhance your skin's overall color and natural tone.

Not only will your skin notice improvement after the first use, but as time proceeds, your skin will also improve. Recently, when shopping on Sephora in NYC, I had the opportunity to not only inquire about Mister Radiant by Givenchy, but try it, as well.

PROS

Some of the best beauty essentials in the world today are lightweight. Mister Radiant possesses a rather subtle, yet light gel texture. It isn't greasy, but does have a hydration that is direct. If you are searching for a product that is lightweight, you are going to find Mister Radiant relatively and modestly engaging.

Mister Radiant is fortified with three individual microspheres that work together to create an amazing complexion. Each set of microspheres has a job. The first set of microspheres possess pigments and pearls, which develop the color of the product. These microspheres produce a vibrant, yet resplendent glow. They tend to be brown and pale yellow. The second set of microspheres contain antioxidants, including a Vitamin E result. These individual microspheres are more of a deep, yet dark yellow.

When something is transparent, you can see right through it. Mister Radiant is transparent, so the only color that this wonderful Givenchy addition acquires is natural looking color, that is derived from the three individual microspheres. Because of this, it is suitable for all skin tones, including very fair women and women of color.

I noticed that after my first application, that Mister Radiant lasted comparatively long. My skin is combination, but tends to lean towards oily, during the Spring and Summer season. Although Givenchy doesn't market this product as being water resistant or sweat proof, it definitely seemed after a long run, when I wore Mister Radiant and nothing else. I tend to not wear makeup at all when I do any kind of physical activity that is on an exercise wavelength, but I decided to make an exception with this product. Guess what? I also noticed that this did not clog my pores.

CONS

Although this Givenchy product is pigmented and allows you to build color, it is translucent, so don't expect intense results. If you are looking for heavy coverage that is incredibly evident, you will not get it with Mister Radiant. In fact, this product is natural looking and despite being pigmented, you will only achieve a certain desired effect.

Justin Bieber is one of the most widespread success stories in music. Not only is Bieber one of the most popular music artists in the world today, he is well respected. Despite being a great singer and artist, he has recently developed his own fragrance called Someday.

Although Justin Bieber is considered a sex symbol to teenage girls from across the globe, there is one thing that he knows best, what smells good. He created Someday with the intent to make girls smell good. Someday is a collaboration of mandarin, sweet pear, jasmine, vanilla, light musk and berries. It also has a hint of subtle floral, which works well.

When shopping at Sephora in NYC, I had the opportunity to try Someday by Justin Bieber. My first thought was "Wow, this reminds me of Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture in so many ways, but yet it is different too."

PROS

There are many qualities I look for when choosing a perfume. One of those qualities is definitely a perfume that is long-lasting, yet abiding. The key to every great fragrance is staying power. I found that Someday by Justin Bieber lasted modestly long after I sprayed it. When the fragrance begins to fade, it doesn't have a foul smell like other perfumes.

The floral stands out a lot in this fragrance. Although the sweetness of Someday is predominant, the floral balances out the perfume. So, despite being relatively sweet, it is also relatively floral. The musk is rather subtle, which I personally like. When the scent is described as "creamy floral" I can definitely tell you that some of those scents are honeysuckle and amber. The vanilla in Someday is subtle but very evident.

CONS

This fragrance may not be your individual cup of tea. Although the floral and fruit are balanced, this fragrance is really powerful. The marketing concept of this product says that it is a fun, yet fresh and flirty fragrance. It definitely is, but if you are one who prefers something more subtle or more clean smelling, you are not going to appreciate, let alone like Someday by Justin Bieber.

Searching for the perfect perfume doesn't have to be impossible, but if you are looking to buy a perfume that you haven't smelled yet, the key is knowing what you like before you buy it. I am going to be honest that Someday by Justin Bieber doesn't have smells that cater to a mature demographic or at least the vast majority of status quo society in that particular demographic. If you are searching for a fragrance that is a little more woodsy, as opposed to fruity and floral, you are not going to enjoy Someday. Keep in mind that another one's garbage is another one's treasure, as another one's treasure is another one's garbage. Apples and Oranges.

I recently discovered that my legs have become one of my best assets. I don't know if it is because I started training martial arts more than I ever have or what, but I find that I am getting complimented more often. Michael Kors Leg Shine is a product that was developed to create a hint of color, as well as shine, to your legs.

When shopping at Sephora in Dallas, I heard about this fine addition to Michael Kors. I became somewhat intrigued at the idea and inquired more. After contemplating and debating whether or not to try Michael Kors Leg Shine, I decided to cave in and try it.

PROS

Michael Kors Leg Shine not only dried immediately, it lasted a long time. If I had to choose the best thing about this product, these two qualities would be it. It also didn't interfere with clothing and didn't create any weird stains or cause any odd discrepancies.

Application is key and one of the best things about Michael Kors Leg Shine is the fact that the application is relatively easy. The applicator almost looks like a stick of deodorant. In fact, it reminds me so much like one, but more pristine. It is very easy to use.

The smell of this product is powerful. It is dramatic. If you are a floral fragrance fanatic, you are going to love Michael Kors Leg Shine. The Gardenia scent in this product is very prevalent. Although it is noticeable to the senses, it depends on personal taste whether you love it or hate it. I personally found the fragrance to be decent for a floral, but it would not be my personal choice.

CONS

There are three shades to this product. There is Classic, which is a sheer gold, the Shimmer, which is a nude shimmer, and the Bronze, which is sheer bronze. These shades are all beautiful, but they don't give the same result to everyone. In fact, this product is not for all skin tones. Despite Classic being a pretty sheer gold shade, it doesn't look that way on every skin tone. In fact, it barely showed up on mine. I am an NC42 in MAC, so I am more medium- to dark-skinned rather than light and fair to medium skinned. When I applied this product to my legs, it only added minimal shine. Bronze wasn't that visible either and the Shimmer just barely showed up. I have seen other ladies wear Michael Kors Leg Shine and it was fairly visible on them.

If you are searching for a dramatic shine to your legs, you will not get it with this product. At least, I didn't. The shine result of this product is very subtle and rather faint, yet visible. For you ladies out there that want a dewy look to your legs, you are not going to have that result with Michael Kors Leg Shine.

Not all products are fragrance free. In fact, Michael Kors Leg Shine is one of those products. Although I find the fragrance to be a nice fragrance, it has the possibility, as well as, potential of being overpowering to those that are not a fan or simply are not into products with potent fragrances. If you are searching for a product that is fragrance free or free of any synthetic fragrances, this product is not the best choice.

When it is winter or cold, my skin is rather on the dry side. When it is summer or hot, my skin is on the oily side. When one endures combination skin, they are left with a t-zone that is more oily than the rest of the skin and when your skin is more oily than the rest, you are more prone to breakouts.
Boscia's Pore Purifying Black Strips are adhesives you apply to any area of your face that has any noticeable flaws. These "flaws" can be anything from a simple blackhead to an actual pimple to just an area that tends to be more oily than the other areas of the skin. They also include any potential area that may be infected in the future.
PROS

What I noticed about Boscia's Pore Purifying Black Strips is that these adhesives are infused with real charcoal powder that works to terminate impurities. Charcoal powder works as a skin detoxifier, removing dirtiness and oil. Boscia's Pore Purifying Black Strips also possess silica, witch hazel and an array of antioxidant ingredients such as Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract and Hamamelis Virginiana Bark/Leaf Extract, which work to banish dirt and oil instantaneously and maintain clarity naturally.

I was very impressed with how long this product lasted. I shower everyday and on some days I find myself showering several times. This product lasted for about a little over a week and when it eventually faded, it didn't make my skin look splotchy or discolored, like I had assumed it would.

Not every sunless tanning product has synthetic dyes or petrochemicals. If you are a fan of products that do not possess synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, as well as, phthalates and triclosan you are not only going to love this incredible addition to Tan Towel, but appreciate much more so. I noticed that when I apply this product that despite drying immediately, it tends to peel if I am taking a shower or washing my hands using warm to hot water. Although I can solve this problem easily by not doing it, it tends to do it often. The kit recommends that you apply the product and then the next day remove it with nail polish remover. I just apply and then when I shower, it just comes off without little effort.

The Natural Nail Repair that is included in the Moist & Shiny Kit possesses "formaldehyde". Formaldehyde is a paraben that has been linked to cancer, however; studies have shown those that use nail products with this paraben in it, have not had any effects resulting from this product. The sun is said to cause cancer, but can you live without it? Everything around use has the potential to cause cancer. Gel eyeliner has become very popular in recent years. In fact, the popularity has increased so dramatically. In 2008, I decided to Google the term "beauty forum". After browsing an array of different websites, it was then, that I discovered MakeupTalk.com. Although the website has changed it's format from 2008 until the present 2011, it has remained true to what it's known for, beauty social interaction. In January 2011, I decided to rejoin Makeup Talk.

The website is very traditional, yet modern. It's fairly simple compared to other beauty social networking websites. It is made up several shades of pink, purple, gray, and white. It is rather easy to join this vastly underrated beauty social networking website, as all you do is click the "Join Now" in the upper right hand corner of the website, above the login area. The login area is located in the same place the join area is.

The MakeupTalk.com logo stands in the front of every area of the page. It's is an animated girl with brown hair and a shag hair style wearing makeup. It is not pristine, but rather cute and simple. It is categorically animated, making Makeup Talk a website that is merriment. When looking above, under the Makeup Talk logo, you will see towards your left and center the primary navigation. This includes: Home, Forums, Reviews, Swap, Galleries, Wiki, Blog, and My Profile.

I don't know about you, but when using a website, I find it extremely important that the navigation is uncomplicated, yet trouble-free. I also find it even more important that the website be user friendly. The first area you will notice on the website is the Homepage. The Home area of the navigation bar simply summarizes the entire activity of the website. This includes all of the current, yet updated information on MakeupTalk.com. On this page, you will also see active users and of course, users that are logged in, but idle. You will also see the top posters, along with discussions that have reached the most activity.

Part of every beauty social networking website is definitely forums. Forums are simply exchanges of thoughts and ideas about a discussion or topic that interests you. In the case of MakeupTalk.com, that is what the forums are used for. The second area of the navigation bar is the forums. This is one of the most active areas of the entire website, making MakeupTalk.com entertaining on an array of wavelengths. The forums include: Welcome to Makeup Talk!, Makeup & Cosmetics, General Topics, General Beauty & Fashion, Home Health & Family, Member Market Place, Off Topic, Shopping, For Sale/Swap Items, Forum Help/Support/Feedback, and Articles. With the Galleries navigation, you can see pictures of not only members, but products that are on MakeupTalk.com. You can also search using several options found to your left. These include: Recent Albums, Recent Photos, and Most Viewed Photos. You can also search tagged albums too.

Wiki is the area that represents the articles on MakeupTalk.com. The Wiki is generally the area to read when you want to read articles that are non review related.
